Born in Windhoek/Namibia and growing up in Germany Melanie started dancing at the age of 3 years. After finishing her High school education she furthered her professional training at the London Studio Centre in London (Musical Tehatre Diploma) as well as Dance Space.Inc in New York (Lynn Simonson Technique) completing both in 1999.

Her professional Career took her around the globe working as Dancer/Singer onboard Cunard Cruise Lines as well as onboard the biggest Cruise Liners in the world aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for over 4 years as Dancer/Singer/Dance Captain.
In between contracts she worked on commercial basis. Credits include Club Convention Monte Carlo (2001). 'Times Gentlemen please'(BBC TV). numerous commercials in UK and Germany. 'Blue-Star-Company'/Germany (Jazz DAnce Company).
She has given workshops in Jazz Dance and Musical Theatre Jazz both in Germany and England to all Ages and Levels

Having left the Cruise Industry Melanie is now teaching and choreographing for numerous Dance schools in and around Essex.
She also is ISTD Tap/Modern Teacher.
Choreography credits include 'Dancing pictures'(2004). 'Circle of Dance' (2005). 'Broadway and Dornroeschen' (2006).
